Actor and American hero, William Daniels, who played Mr. Feeny in the television show Boy Meets World, is credited with foiling an attempted robbery at his home in San Fernando Valley.
Daniels, 91, and his wife, actress, Bonnie Bartlett, 89, were at their home when at around 9:30PM they heard someone trying to break-in to their home via the backdoor. Daniels snapped into action, switched on the lights and scared the would-be burglar off.
Daniels is best known for his work on Boy Meets World as well as his voiceover work on “Knight Rider” as his co-star’s, played by David Hasslehoff, vehicular sidekick, K.I.T.T.
Luckily, no one was injured in this incident, however, Daniels joked on Good Morning America,
“I struggled with an intruder, took him to the ground, I beat him up and he ran away with bruises all over him,” Daniels quipped. “Would you like to print that? You better not. It’s a total lie.”
This is another lesson in the history books taught by the one and only Mr. Feeny. Hopefully the lesson was learned and that scoundrel chooses a new path in life.
