Hiring status

We Are Not Currently Hiring

Head of Security hires deliberately. We do not maintain open requisitions at all times, and we do not recruit for positions we cannot fully support. Right now, our team is at the size and capacity we need to deliver for our clients.

That can change. When it does, the first place open roles will appear is this page. Professionals who have already expressed interest will be contacted first.

What we expect

How We Operate

Head of Security is a professional environment. These are the standards we hold for everyone on the team, including leadership.

Client discretion above all

We work with principals, organizations, and matters that demand absolute confidentiality. Every team member is held to that standard, on and off the clock.

Professional presentation

The way we show up in the field matters. Team members are expected to maintain the appearance, bearing, and communication standards appropriate to working with executive clients.

Continuous operational readiness

Certifications current. Fitness maintained. Licenses valid. Training ongoing. We do not accept slipping standards because a slip in the field is not an option.

Judgment and humility

The best security work comes from people who know what they do not know. We look for operators with deep experience and the humility to still be learning.

Common questions

Careers FAQ

How will I know when you do post positions? +

Open positions are posted on this page. Professionals who have submitted their background through our contact form are notified directly when a role that matches their profile opens. If you have submitted interest and we do not already have your full resume and credentials, consider sharing them in your initial submission so we can match you faster when positions do open.

What licenses and certifications do I need? +

Requirements vary by role. Most operational positions in Illinois require an active Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) issued by IDFPR. Armed positions require additional armed training and credentials. Executive protection roles require formal EP training. K9 and drone roles require their own operational certifications. If you do not hold current credentials, we consider the overall profile and operational experience, but active roles generally require credentials to be in hand before a start date.

Do you hire part-time, per-event, or contract professionals? +

Yes, when roles open. Many of our event security, executive protection detail, and specialty assignments are staffed by experienced part-time or per-event professionals who are not seeking full-time employment. This is especially common for off-duty law enforcement and specialized credentialed operators. Submit your background and we will reach out when the right match comes up.

Do you accept applications from professionals outside Illinois? +

Most roles require local presence due to the nature of the work. We do occasionally engage professionals in other states for specialized assignments, travel details, or remote-capable roles in intelligence and analysis. Submit your background if you are interested in being considered for those kinds of engagements.

What is the application process when roles open? +

When a role opens, candidates submit or update their resume and credentials, complete an initial screening conversation with our team, and move to a more in-depth interview with the hiring manager. Operational roles include practical assessments appropriate to the position. Final steps include background checks, reference verification, and credential confirmation before an offer is made.

Is there a way to keep my submission current if I have updates? +

Yes. If your credentials, certifications, or experience change, send an updated submission through the contact form referencing your original submission. We keep the most recent version of a candidate profile in our pipeline. Certification and license updates are worth flagging when they change.
